An ongoing quarterly labour market intelligence programme

As the designated Employer Representative Body for its region, Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce needed sustained analytical capacity to meet its LSIP reporting obligations and to turn its business-community touchpoints into insight. From 2024 PolicyDepartment has produced quarterly labour market reviews for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, combining standard indicators, job-postings analysis and the Chamber's Quarterly Economic Survey with sector dashboards, presented to partners at workshops. The programme became the evolving evidence base that underpinned the 2026-2029 LSIP refresh, and now informs how education and training providers plan provision.
