A labour market evidence base for the Get Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Working Plan

As strategic leader of the area's Get Britain Working Local Plan, the Combined Authority (CPCA) needed a detailed labour market evidence base, particularly on participation, economic inactivity and worklessness. PolicyDepartment produced a comprehensive regional labour market analysis, deepening the evidence on the drivers of inactivity, jobs, skills gaps and shortages, education and training, and digital, green and transferable skills, with breakdowns to local-authority level. The analysis gave the Combined Authority a robust foundation for its plan.
